It’s Easy To Make Talking Pictures! - Grafton Community Television Open House Set For Monday, September 17th
GRAFTON: Isn’t it time your Grafton organization got into the picture? Grafton Community Television wants to take the mystery out of video taping town events and showing them on Grafton’s public access Channel 11.
On Monday evening, September 17th at 7:00 PM, Grafton Community Television and Charter Communications hosts an open house for town residents interested in learning more about the GCTV Video Production Course. Individuals who have thought about making video programing to be shown on Grafton’s Channel 11 and representatives of organizations that would like to learn how to videotape their events are encouraged to attend. The open house and social will be held at the Grafton Community Television studios at 296 Providence Road in South Grafton.
The GCTV Video Production Course is offered twice each year. Fall 2007 classes start on Monday evening, October 1st and run from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM for eight weeks at the Providence Road studios. The course is conducted at no charge to all Grafton residents who are 18 years of age or older. Taught by Danielle DeLucia, Grafton public access coordinator, the course lets participants get comfortable with the basics of using a video camera, editing their own programs, behind the scenes directing, and studio camera operation. The course includes making a short public service video. In 2006 nine Grafton residents were trained and received certification as Grafton Community Television producers.
To sign up for the GCTV Video Production Course, please call Danielle DeLucia, Public Access Coordinator for Grafton at (508) 839-2983 or email at
