Town’s Special Events Featured On What’s Happenin,’ Grafton?
GRAFTON: The October episode of What’s Happenin,’ Grafton? Grafton Community Television’s news and information program will feature video highlights of three special events held recently in the community.
Debuting Thursday, October 25th at 7:00 PM on Grafton Community Television Channel 11, the show will feature the Apple Pie Social held on the Grafton Common, the Blackstone Valley Stagecoach visit to the Community Television studios in South Grafton and the groundbreaking for the new Tufts Vet School biosafety laboratory at Grafton Science Park.
In addition to the special event segments, each episode of What’s Happenin,’ Grafton? features a personality profile of a Grafton resident. The show airs on Grafton Community Television Channel 11 Thursdays at 7:00 PM, Fridays at 8:30 PM and Sundays at 8:30 PM.
New episodes of What’s Happenin,’ Grafton? (WHG) are also planned for November and January. According to October program host and Grafton Community Television public access assistant Bill Robidoux, “What we like about What’s Happenin,’ Grafton? is that a lot of peoples' efforts go into putting the show together and getting it out on the airways. It’s a collaborative effort where Grafton residents can also be involved. The GCTV staff is always looking for video footage from events held in Grafton to feature on the program. The more participation we can get from Grafton organizations submitting video tape of their events, the better this show will become.”
Grafton organizations holding special events are encouraged to take video tape of their events and submit it to the GCTV staff for future episodes of WHG. Questions about format and what kind of video to submit can be answered by Grafton Community Television Public Access Coordinator Danielle DeLucia at 508-839-2983 or e-mail: GCTV11@charter.net
