Cable TV Program To Feature Grafton’s Military Veterans

GRAFTON: The producer of Grafton Community Television’s new series “Day Trip to History” is looking to interview Grafton’s veterans who have served in our nation’s military conflicts. The program which airs on GCTV’s Channel 11 on Mondays at 12:00 Noon, Thursdays at 7:30 PM., and Saturday mornings at 9:30 AM will feature special episodes with taped interviews with our town’s servicemen and women. “We’re hopeful that Grafton's veterans will come forward and offer to share their stories, because they're an important part of our history. As time progresses more and more of our World War Two Veterans are passing away, and with them, their stories,” noted Bob DeToma, producer of the Day Trip To History series. The first special episode will focus on the wartime experiences of Navy veteran Allen Josey of South Grafton. Mr. Josey served aboard four warships during World War Two, including the U.S.S. Helena, the U.S.S. Hornet, the U.S.S. Lexington, and the U.S.S. Requisite. Grafton Community Television provides programming on three distinct public access channels in the Town of Grafton over the Charter Communications cable system.
