Full Description:
GRAFTON: Grafton Community Television and Charter Communications will host
an open house and tour of the town¹s cable public access TV facilities on
Monday evening, March 2nd from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Grafton Community
Television studios at 296 Providence Road in South Grafton. The evening
serves as an introduction to the eight week Spring 2009 Video Production
Class which begins on Monday, March 9th.
The Open House includes guided tours of the facility by the GCTV staff,
demonstrations of studio equipment including the control room, and an
opportunity to meet the producers and personalities of popular Grafton
Community Television programs. Information on will be available on the
Spring, 2009 GCTV Production Course and how to become a GCTV producer. Light
refreshments will be served. For additional information, please call

According to Bob Hassinger, chairman of Grafton's Cable Television Oversight
Committee,"The variety and quantity of local programming currently scheduled
on Grafton¹s three public access channels is a result of the investment that
the community has made in its cable access facilities, most notably its
South Grafton studio and all of the video equipment that supports our
operations. There's always something exciting going on at GCTV and we look
forward to having the community come and visit us during our open house on
March 2nd."
Grafton Community Television provides programming on three distinct public
access channels in the Town of Grafton over the Charter Communications cable
system. Monthly schedules for Grafton Community Television Channels 11, 12
and 13 can be found at www.GraftonTV.org Channel 11 provides general
interest programming, Channel 12 broadcasts town government programming, and
Channel 13 features school programming and high school sports events. The
Grafton Community Television studios and offices are located at 296
Providence Road in South Grafton.
