Grafton Sets Kids Summer Television Classes
GRAFTON: Looking for a creative activity for your son, daughter or grandchild during school vacation? Grafton Community Television in cooperation with the Grafton Recreation Commission will host three sessions of the GCTV Kids Summer Television Class during July and August.
The classes are scheduled as follows:
Session 1: July 6th-10th 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM daily for Ages 12 & 13
Session 2: July 27th-31st 2:00PM to 5:00 PM daily for ages 14 & 15
Session 3: August 17th-21st 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon daily for ages 12-15
Classes are held at the Grafton Community Television studios at 296 Providence Road in South Grafton. Participants learn about public access television and will create a class video project that will include planning, writing script, shooting video and audio, and editing for showing on GCTV. Class fees are $50.00 per student and you must be a Grafton resident to participate in this class. There will be a mandatory parent information session. Class size is limited to eight students per session.

Grafton Community Television provides programming on three distinct public access channels in the Town of Grafton over the Charter Communications and the Verizon cable systems. Monthly schedules for Grafton Community Television Channels can be found at www.GraftonTV.org Charter Channel 11/Verizon Channel 34 provides general interest programming, Charter Channel 12/Verizon Channel 33 broadcasts town government programming, and Charter Channel 13 /Verizon Channel 32 features school programming and high school sports events. The Grafton Community Television studios and offices are located at 296 Providence Road in South Grafton.
