Grafton Community Television Schedules May 26th Camcorder Workshop
GRAFTON: On Tuesday evening, May 26th, Grafton Community Television will host an encore of its HD camcorder workshop. The class, part of GCTV’s advanced topic education series, will be held from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Grafton Community Television studios at 296 Providence Road in South Grafton.
According to Danielle DeLucia, Grafton Comm unity Television Public Access Coordinator, “We had a very good response from our community television producers to our first camcorder workshop held in February. Our Canon HD Camcorders are top of the line video cameras with many exciting features and options and I would encourage anyone who is a producer who has not learned how to use these cameras to sign up for this workshop.”
The May 26th workshop will show how to change camcorder recording modes between SD and HD and the different frame rates available, how to use and get good audio from the internal microphone or the built-in XLR adapters, how to use the optic image stabilizer, and how to use different filters to get different looks.
All certified Grafton Community Television cable access producers who have completed the20basic eight week GCTV producers course, offered several times each year, are eligible to sign up for the May 26th camcorder class. More information about GCTV educational offerings can be found at the education opportunities link found on the GCTV web site at graftontv.org. For registration for the May 26th workshop, please call Danielle DeLucia, Public Access Coordinator for Grafton at (508) 839-2983
