Grafton Public Access Television Producer Bob DeToma Honored With New England Cable Award

GRAFTON: Grafton Public Access Television producer Bob DeToma has been recognized with a public service award by the New England Cable and Telecommunications Association. (NECTA)  Bob is producer and host of  Day Trip To History, seen on Grafton Cable Television. &n­bsp;The program received an honorable mention public service award in the Cable Association's News and Information Series category. 

 

Mr. DeToma will receive his award at the Public Service and Excellence in Cable Television Awards Ceremonies on Thursday afternoon, July 15th at the Marriott Hotel in Newport, Rhode Island. The ceremonies are part of the 2010 NECTA Convention and Exhibition.

 

Day Trip To History is a fast paced 30 minute program where the GCTV video cameras travel to many known and some not so well known historical sites in New England. The program airs three times each week on Cable Channel 11 and Verizon Channel 34 - Mondays at 12:00 pm, Thursdays at 7:30 pm and Saturdays at 9:30 am. 

 

Grafton Community Television provides programming on three distinct public access channels in the Town of Grafton over the Charter Communications and the Verizon cable systems. Monthly schedules for Grafton Community Television Channels can be found at www.GraftonTV.org. Charter Channel 11/Verizon Channel 34 provides general interest programming, Charter Channel 12/Verizon Channel 33 broadcasts town government programming, and Charter Channel 13 /Verizon Channel 32 features school programming and high school sports events. The Grafton Community Television studios and offices are located at 296 Providence Road in South Grafton.
